Cadaver dogs hit on the ashes of

Frolicking amidst the truth at the cotton drifting festival

Pareidolic lenses leer upon my world
Seeing you for what I want to see
As I sit in the audience the spotlight reduces my field of vision to you

I cannot comprehend that the actors regather themselves, disrobe, and go home
The curtain full of blue skies to forever begins to peel away

Red mist drifts when the shamisen comes in

Signaling a new act in this play composed for two
